Istri Wirati) – in the form of a special Oleg Tambulilingan performance, danced by several generations of successors with an event entitled “The Spirit of Ibu Raka” as well as a part of dance preservation of her style (Oleg Tamulilingan of Peliatan).
This was a full day event held on 11 March 2012 in Open Stage Ancak Saji Peliatan Palace. This event was consisted of a dance workshop which provided by Ibu Raka to all pupils. And in the evening was the performance, performed by all dancers. The performance accompanied by Gunung Sari, the group that brought Gusti Ayu Raka together towards performing to international attention, in 1952.
In this event, her daughter, who is also head of the committee invited several dance groups and individuals to join the event. m (mayumi inouye) was invited and she honored to join. She also asked her students from Tunas Maragawi along with her to join.
All children and dancers were so enthusiastic joining this workshop. However, Ibu Raka 73 of age but she was still very enthusiastic teaching all pupils, in order to preserve the Oleg Tamulilingan of the Peliatan Style, and passing her “taksu” to her successor generation.
A lot of things to come by m and to her students from this time, some special authentic Peliatan’s dance movement that has been learned can be more improved.
