We played gamelan for Kuningan this time. It was on the full month ceremony of the “Karya Agung Ngenteg Linggih lan Ngusabha Dalem”, at Pura Dalem Gede Peliatan.
Unlike usual, the women wear a white headband on their head.
The performers also. They were all on white upper dress. Beautiful!
You would see the spirit on it.
They lined up like this, nice aura, full of life and energy.
Since the number of the girls was increasing, I separated the schedule rehearsal into different groups. The high school aged group, the middle school aged group, the elementary school aged group, and the preschool aged group.
I have been teaching in this way since last year. It looked better organized.
And when they all gathered together in a performance, it was felt like a large household. It was very beautiful, full of life and energy.
Since the number of the members was increasing, on the other side the costumes for the performance was in less number, so I had to find out the solution.
Special for the performance in this temple festival, I borrowed some costume materials from the women’s association of my Banjar. Most of this association members were their mothers. How lovely, they supported this.

The prayers on Kuningan day
When playing, there were many cases where we took up a slightly higher position, it was a privilege to see the whole ritual like this.
I love to watch the atmosphere of everyone waited to start praying. Calm and peaceful!
